12.11.08Ride the LightningLast night was the Nike Lightning Bolts show in LA. It was pretty cool. Mark Lewman’s plate was probably my favorite. Although I saw a preview for Sandy Carson’s with Mike Santana doing a sick tabled pocket air that looked awesome. I realized as I was leaving that I didn’t see it. I must have missed it. As cool as some plates were, some were lame and part of me feels that a lot of the people involved, especially the earlier artists, wouldn’t have wanted to touch BMX with a ten foot pole unless they were directly benefiting from it.
