11.12.08FactionEven when it dropped from full color to black and white newsprint, faction was still awesome. Scan stolen from FBM, which has tons of cool semi-old ads up on their site. Also, kind of on the tip of Impact Skatepark was Nine-Ninety Magazine. I was so psyched on getting this when I was in 7th grade. It was made by Brian Tunney and Jared Souney but unfortunately only saw one issue. I think this magazine coupled with Dig Issue 8? (the one with Road Fools 1 and Jimmy Levan) cemented my interest in magazines.

11.12.08Maine plus Billy BraggMaine is fucking sick! It really is the epitome of a raw BMX scene. I love how those dudes operate. I can definitely see myself living in Maine someday. Mike Michaud sent over a bunch of photos for Issue 4 today. I’ve been going through them and I figured I’d post up one. These jumps look so fun! The photo is of Stan Weymouth getting sick. Billy Bragg is so rad. Solo with electric guitar, such a good move.
